This is my story
Starting out
At Eight years old
Everysince Mom Ola
Told me
I was blessed
But back then
I didn’t know
Because I stayed
so stressed
how could I know
that the world
would put me
2 the test
with momma
and poppa fighting
all the time
how could I rest
So I put all my energy
In drawing n playing
Trying 2 get away
From staying upset
one day playing
in the back yard
the devil showed
his face and
had me under duress
there’s 2 sides
2 this coin yes
but my mind
wasn’t developed yet
so he took advantage
of a young nigga
Father please help me
Free me from all this
But no one
was around
When he started
2 spit
Just in time
Moma called my name
Now my ass is
off the hook
but my mind
is still shook
I promise from now on out
I’ll avoid the predators
And hit the books
Keep my innocence
In tact especially
When the devil
Is attacking me
Thank you Lord
Now I see
that I’m blessed
But back then
I don’t know
If my mind
could handle it
at the age
of eight years old

With families 2 see
Our children
Are precious gifts
Who needs
Our love & guidance
Protection
From all devilish
Attacks because
Once you’re gone
It’s hell

Hello My Darling
I'm going thru my early years
Of writing poetry
Going all the way back 2 2013
When I first got serious about
Pursuing my dreams
Inspired by this young beauty
I met while hustling on the streets
At DG selling cds and movies
She came 2 me
Looking 4 a KC and Jojo cd
Forever My Lady
But what she was really
Lookin 4 was the cd titled
It's Real with the song
Hello My Darling
I thought it was a sign
From heaven 4 me
Got my heart all throbbing
I finally met someone
I could adore 4 me
Even gave her a key 2 my door
And wrote her poetry
And made sure I was available
4 her everytime she needed me
Even prayed 2 God 4 me 2 be
She had me running around town
2 satisfy her every need
In and out of town
She would come and go and leave
Always expecting favors and things
Never paying any attention
2 me or any of my needs
Not even 1 thing
So now I got 2 be willing
2 let her go and see
If she comes back 2 me
And hopefully it's not 2 late
My heart is growing faint
I'm ready 2 go on a date
I need 2 b hugged today
As I reminisce on some old pains
While she's gone away
I'm waiting 4 that day
I can say
Hello again my darling
I miss you my friend
It's been real
I know we both have dreams
And problems but hopefully
We can both come together and see
If we can solve them like Kings n Queens
